Property preparation

  • Clutter: Put away visible clutter. Small closets are usually not photographed and can be used for temporary storage. Prepare any walk-in closet you would like photographed.
  • Vehicles: Move vehicles away from the front of the property and driveway where possible.
  • Bathrooms: Close toilet lids.
  • Lighting: Turn on all interior lights.
  • Floors: Focus on clearing clutter rather than spending extra time mopping. Minor differences in floor cleanliness are usually not noticeable in photos.

Put away clutter, close toilet lids and turn on all interior lights. Small closets can be used for temporary storage; prepare any walk-in closet you would like photographed. Prioritize visible clutter over extra time spent mopping.

  • Parking: Help arrange a parking space for the photographer and include its location in your booking notes.
  • Amenities: If you would like building amenities photographed, arrange for the agent or owner to accompany the photographer, provide access and identify the areas to capture.

Services & coverage

Small closets and cluttered small spaces are usually not photographed. Please let us know in advance if you have a specific request.

  • Connected spaces: Our current service covers one connected space. Floors or areas with separate entrances and no internal connection cannot be combined into one model as part of this service.
  • Unfinished basements: These are not scanned by default. Please let us know in advance if you would like one included.

Our current equipment and scanning process require connected spaces. A garage or other separate area without an internal connection to the property cannot be included in the same floor plan.

  • Flight conditions: Drone photography depends on the weather and local flight restrictions. High winds or restrictions may prevent a flight.
  • Nearby landmarks: Aerial views help show the property’s location in relation to nearby amenities. Tell the photographer in advance if you would like specific buildings or landmarks captured or labelled.
